You’re right, my bad I missed the tweet from yesterday that confirmed that

Wow, this team just got super scary with a single player signed. You replace roar who was one of the worst main tanks in the league, and sign mag who has been getting hyped up to an incredible degree. You have a team with Mag who could be rookie of the year, jjanu who was a season 2 MVP candidate, and Decay who was the biggest "hard carry" player in season 3, this roaster is lookin good so far. Yes I know decay isn't fully signed to the team and has the agility to go to another team, but if I had to take a guess Decay would want to stay on a team with these 2 other players along side stitch and ark who are also to solid veteran players. As well as, I doubt Washington would spend to get Mag and and not spend on Decay. Lets just see some more backups, maybe another tank, dps, and support as well as more coaches and this could be a solid middle of the pack team, kinda like a Gladiators or even at Mayhem's lvl

A legend to the game, he will be missed. As an NYXL fan this hurt a lot, because he was someone you could build a team around. Without him I have little faith for next season

posted about 3 years ago

Sad to see him go but unfortunately he hasn’t seen much play time, but even when he did play last season he didn’t look too good. I do wish him luck in his next chapter in his life, he was a legendary player

The off season is here, and wow if this is the first set of players being dropped I’m scared to see what’s coming

posted about 3 years ago

agreed, this team had a lot of problems but these 3 weren't it

I think leave should be their flex dps and have diya on hitscan. Jinmu has some amazing pop off potential but if he isn’t playing genji, hanzo, pharah he is pretty sub par where as leave is extremely flexible and consistent. Then if they get a main tank who isn’t a ball 1 trick this team should be pretty good

posted about 3 years ago

I don’t understand how the justice became the villains of these playoffs. I feel like they should be the underdogs, but I was also cheering against them the whole time

posted about 3 years ago

My theory is that he is possibly having motivation issues, is considering retiring, or the team believed that there were others that were better for the roles he would play. That last one is probably the reason but it also don’t understand it because he is a really good sombra, tracer, Ashe so he could have had a spot somewhere in this meta

I don’t think that surefour is past his prime, he is still very solid but he was never an explosive player. He is just naturally passive. He has always been more brain and less aim so it always depends on the meta, if it requires aggressive play making than surefour might not be the best, but if it needs someone more constant than surefour is good. I’ll be honest I’ve never thought agilities was too good. He has his moments, but he can easily be upgraded. I think EQO, or Nero would be great fit on this team

posted about 3 years ago

Holy crap, I remember when he got kicked off skyfoxes for this but I didn’t realize how terrible this was

posted about 3 years ago

Surefour, logix, nevix, and Kariv are all good players. Agilities is good on very few heroes like genji, pharah, and probably doom. Zykk and kruse are ok, numlock and beast are not super good but I still think they have potential

After this match, idk I had a gut feeling that Seoul has the ability to win the whole thing. They took Shanghai to map 5, shock has been looking pretty good but since they are going against Seoul who knows how much they’ll be able to counter what they are running, and if Philly beats Shanghai (which is unlikely) and Seoul beats shock, I think Seoul win 100%

I was watching this and the chat had me losing my mind

very true

posted about 3 years ago

This team has good players, I think if they completely restructure the coaching staff and add more backup players this team could be good

posted about 3 years ago

Because I think he was able to go to blizzcon as a weekend vacation, you don’t need a visa. But he needs a visa to live in the USA for the entire league season if they needed him to

Does anyone know why there have been so many odd roaster decisions going into the playoffs? NYXL playing double hitscan and not playing nenne, the eternal, defiant, and spark doing the same thing, Atlanta actually playing erster and sharp. I don’t know these playoffs have been extremely entertaining while also a little unsettling

posted about 3 years ago

Anyone know why this took so long?

Little late for additions don’t you think

Lookin pretty good

I’m so happy to see diya still being successful on this team

posted about 3 years ago

Exactly, I am impressed with dedication to the grind

posted about 3 years ago

Damn, he was a prodigy and we will be missed

posted about 3 years ago

Not gonna lie, it’s pretty impressive how im37 is still in the getting picked up by teams after his not so good run in OWL

posted about 3 years ago

I don’t think I’m ever gonna understand Atlanta, for whatever reason they hate playing erster, ok if they really don’t wanna play him for reasons that’s fine. But they don’t even pick up good people to fill his spot, they had babybay, Edison, and saucy all share the projectile role when they are all hitscan players! Imagine if this team had picked up an actual dedicated star projectile player, like pelican from O2 Blast or even if they picked up kevster, onigod, or taiyo who all play a mix of hitscan and projectile. Saucy has played 99% of his carrier on hitscan, please don’t put I’m on mei or genji

Am I the only one surprised that this is still a real team? Like I thought that this team was created because the team envy players and staff were so good that they felt like they could win contenders and didn’t want to waste the time they had together, so they made a “meme team” and won. But now this team is still going forward and actually picking up good players, this whole thing doesn’t feel real. Also I LOVE their social media, that video was waaay too funny

This is the first non tournament game that the shock have lost this season since they took those two losses to the LA teams in the first few weeks of this season. Basically this is the first regular season loss to the shock since they have reach full strength. This is also the first team the fusion have beaten the shock since 2018

I don’t really care that New York or philly doesn’t have a single American player, but when you are THE American team and you don’t have a single American on the roaster, no one is going to like you for your location and the only reason people would like this team would be if their play improved. I was a fan of this team purely because of corey and stratus, and even though I’m a fan of stitch, jjanu, ark, and decay I’m not a fan of the team. You should really reevaluate what you think a “10iq take” is, because obviously for fans the nationality of the players matters to some extent. That being said my fav team is New York, and I’m from New York, so nationality doesn’t always matter, but if New York was just as good with all American players I’d love them even more

posted about 3 years ago

what?! that came out of nowhere, he is a great player and there has been nothing this season to show that he is bad

posted about 3 years ago

This team is actually on its way to having some insane talent but something tells me that this team still won't be good

posted about 3 years ago

I was thinking the same thing! Everyone has been saying “Dallas has to shed their dead weight like harryhook” but I didn’t think stuff like this was gonna be the way the did it lol

posted about 3 years ago

I had a feeling this was coming, I believe it was on sideshows stream that he did with Dpei of the Gladiators where he said that decay chose to leave because the team wanted to move in a more western direction, and that OGE was a good fit for the Gladiators because he is a big fan of western culture and one of the more “westernized Koreans”. So decay left a team because he was told it was moving in a western direction. now he gets to Dallas that, at first, has a 4 Korean and 2 western starting roaster with a western head coach. Then Dallas sign paintbrush and onigod while having many many more western players on the bench like harryhook, trill, and akm. Dallas is slowly turning into a mostly western team and I don’t think that was something that decay was prepared for or really wanted. All of this is just speculation btw, I have no proof other than dpei saying that decay said that he “wants to be on a Korean team”, I’m simply putting pieces together

Honestly I can never tell with this team or aero either. Aero was the head coach of fusion University and they had a lot of success, but is that because of aero or was that because whoru, zachareee, and bernar were the best players in NA contenders at time. Aero was also the head coach of team USA in 2018 when they had their horrible flop but he was also head coach in 2019 when team USA won. Dallas has had some major ups and downs and on some teams like the shock or dragons or even Paris that a lot of their success is equal part their players and coaches but on the fuel idk how willing I am to give aero credit for the good or bad he does

posted about 3 years ago

Who is aero or who is Yong? Yong was a former assistant coach of element mystic and joined the fuel sometime last year

posted about 3 years ago

did I call it or what?

posted about 3 years ago

I didn’t think mask wasn’t doing a bad terrible job, just seemed like the team wasn’t jelling together. I hope a mixup in the coaching staff can make this team the all star team that it should be

posted about 3 years ago

How do you have Edison and sharp but still somehow have a need to find more players. What is he gonna play? I guess Edison is their tracer specialist even though I think sharp is better on tracer, Edison is a really good widow and Ashe so is he going to take that away from Edison? And is erster gonna be benched AGAIN? I know he hasn’t been doing too well but he doesn’t deserve to be on the bench

posted about 3 years ago

and the rich get richer. Kevster, onigod, and ta1yo were the best dps in NA contenders. I think ta1yo was probably better than kevster and onigod by a little bit, but they were both on the same team. The shock now have another insane tracer player as a back up for striker, another insane hitscan as a backup for ANS and striker, and a super star genji

posted about 3 years ago

apply is a lot like jake in that he can play soldier and mccree but I think widow is the true test for hitscan skill. I think KSF is much better as a widow player than a genji player honestly, but I think he has decided that his role is projectile DPS

posted about 3 years ago

Dalton is now the only American hitscan player in the league. Some people think danteh is, but he only plays tracer and sombra, the rest of his hero pool is projectile heroes

posted about 3 years ago

This hurts to say as a New York fan, but New York is getting extremely close to being considered a bad team. This year they were suppose to be a great team but they have some how fallen so hard that they are new getting reverse swept by the worst team in Asia

posted about 3 years ago

I dont understand what the reign have been doing, I think they have some of the best talent in the league and they are just playing terribly. you have gator who I think has a rein comparable to supers and an amazing sigma as we saw in last years playoffs, they have Edison who is a truly amazing hitscan player when he was in contenders and his weakest hitscan hero was always his tracer. they have sharp who was also an amazing hitscan in contenders but his best hero was tracer, they have erster who can play ever projectile hero to an insane level but specifially his genji play which I thought has around the level of architects and he has also shown an extremely strong tracer aswell. The finally dps player they have is babybay who is a very feast or famine player and can play basically everything that isnt tracer, if you can keep him on a hot streak then he could be better than Edison or even erster depending on the media. But for some reason this team has their 3rd worst tracer player, Edison, on tracer full time and they have him playing genji which is a hero I never knew he could play. He played it well but compared to what we know erster can do it still falls short, I even think babybay could have put up an equally if not better performance on genji and I think Edison could have done just as good if not better on ashe. Pokpo is an amazing orisa and good rein and gator is an amazing rein, an amazing sigma and a good orisa. This is the only team that should be taking a page from the dynasties book and put in both of their main tanks during the double shield metas. This team has soooo much talent that you can put in any combination of players have see success, unfortunately they somehow found the only combination of their players that could make them look as bad as this

posted about 3 years ago

I actually think that diem is more deserving of a starter position than dding, dding is an insane pharah and he is perfect as a specialist to ride the bench until a perfect meta comes along for him to dominate, but he isn’t as flexible as Fleta. Diem is a truly amazing hitscan and can play every hitscan including some projectile, he really is a clone of carpe. I could see a world in which philly picks up diem and drop hessu for a double hitscan meta. In the philly vs shock match hessu couldn’t compete with ANS on the widow, and if carpe and hessu swapped striker would have been the one dominating. Not that hessu is a bad player but diem is insane and he could be perfect to pair alongside carpe in a double hitscan meta

posted about 3 years ago

Damn that sucks, he was always so great and he just never got his shot in OWL or a better contenders team

I think NYXL were gonna lose anyway, but man that C9 hurt

posted about 3 years ago

I agree that the fuel might not want to let him ago, but on the charity live stream that sideshow did with Dpei, he said that he wanted the gladiators to be the best westernized team, meaning having a western culture within the team and decay the team for specially that reason. Now that onigod and paintbrush are on the team it is obvious that the fuel are now also going in a western direction which could cause decay to leave for another team with more of a Korean culture. And currently OW is in a double hitscan meta, but if double hitscan goes away with the addition of the new genji buff or any other buff in the future onigod will be benched again. I’m a big onigod fan and just want to see him as a proper starter because he truly deserves it. I have the same problem with shax and KSP as well as ANS and striker. All of these players deserve to be starters and if you shuffle them around to other teams they all could be

posted about 3 years ago

Wtf! Onigod, this guy has been a god dps player for the longest time and he should have been in OWL a long time ago. And now, he finally gets into OWL and he will without a doubt be benched for decay. Like it or not decay is clearly a top 5 hitscan player, I think Onigod would have fit better on the other Texas team as a backup or a new starter over linkzr. I love onigod and I hope we actually see him play, and when he does play he actually looks as good as we know he is. That being said, the fact that they did sign onigod shows signs that Dallas might be trading decay at some point in the future and Dallas is moving towards a full western team. The only Korean that could stay might be Gamsu cuz I would say he is a fairly westernized Korean player and is good friends with note
