The LAN playoffs of Overwatch Contenders North America and Overwatch Contenders Europe have been set, with four teams from each region competing to crown themselves champions of their respective region. The playoffs are to be played in Poland, although no exact location has been announced yet.

In North America, a battle between a Canadian-based organization and American-based organization is guaranteed for the grand final. Toronto Esports will face EnVision eSports for a chance at the final. The other semifinal sees Fusion University pitted against OpTic Academy. Of the four playoff-bound teams all but one (EnVision eSports) are Overwatch League Academy teams.

The first match in Europe will be between the reigning Contenders Europe champions Team Gigantti and TaKe TV-sponsored Angry Titans. The other match will be between the Academy team of the London Spitfire, British Hurricane and the pride of Russian-speaking Overwatch players, CIS Hope.

According to the Overwatch Contenders website, the European semifinals will be played Saturday, May 12, and the finals will be played Sunday, May 13. Dates have not been announced for the North American playoffs.

The location of the event in Poland has not been revealed, although one of the group qualifiers for the 2017 Overwatch World Cup was played in Katowice. It was first discovered that the LAN finals would be in Poland through a comment made during the North American Contenders stream and was later mentioned again in a tweet from XL2.
