I am pretty sure there is way less problems going out of the US than getting into

I am still sad that Movistar didnt consider talks with Team Expert too. Everything about the EU spot was rarely officially communicated. I would have loved to see expert back cause they showed a really promising performance in grps!

ye that could have been the Rumble Quali. I remember talking to Chance a bunch in protalk about it. Maybe I just swapped the two <3

Sadly you cannot cover every good match all the time, the prediction is not always right and sometimes TO's dont know every storyline. With the 2nd schedule we really tried to aim for the relevant matchups and we also need to make sure that teams dont have too much downtime so they dont cool off like we had with faze last week (sry for that one again)

Sadly a production like this is not as easy as "just turn on the stream" there are certain standards that need to be met and the production crew is a few dozen people including caster, admins, makeup, observers, light, audio, tech etc. The 4 Matches are already 7 hrs and all of the people need to be paid and fed and cuddled.
As for season 1 there will be only half of the teams 8 in total per region so I guess we will have more time to see games! :)

Its a bit of both but mainly what Pesto says. Unlike the US of A or North America in general, companies in Europe are spread out in different countries. They dont have 1 big sponsor budget for all of NA but smaller budgets for Germany, Poland, Russia etc -> you get me.
So its way harder to get enough budget for a longer amount of time. I put in 150 Euros of my own money the first two months so I could even get to 500 Euros which is srsly not enough money to commit for bigger teams. We were lucky to secure the gosugamers twitch channel so the viewernumbers were not too bad and the sponsors stuck for 2 months. But finding a new one after that was really difficult. We got a bigger german hardware company but they, for example, were not really satisfied with the traffic and dropped straight after although we had 5k+ viewers which are not too bad for small prizemoney in EU.

Its just a big stress and struggle to keep tournaments up and running in EU also with the instability of the teams in general:
