The Guangzhou Charge Guangzhou Charge OWL Rank #9 Cr0ng Nam Ki-cheol (남기철) off tank Farway1987 Cao Jiale (曹家乐) flex support choisehwan Choi Se-Hwan (최세환) dps Develop Chae Rak-hoon (채락훈) dps Rio Oh Seung-pyo (오승표) tank Unique Yoo Dong-hyun support have announced the additions of off-tank Cr0ng , flex support wya and main support neptuNo .

Each of the three players played for teams using a different primary language than the others. neptuNo played for the English-speaking Fusion, Cr0ng played for the Korean-speaking O2 Blast and wya played for the Chinese-speaking T1w.GZA. The Charge became the only team in Overwatch League history last season with Korean, Chinese and western players all on the same team.

All three play roles in which the team has recently lost played. The Charge lost a flex support when Rise retired, lost their only off-tank when HOTBA entered free agency and the team let go of main support OnlyWish.

The only one of their new additions with Overwatch League experience is neptuNo, who has spent two seasons with the Philadelphia Fusion. Both Cr0ng and wya have been in Contenders since 2018's first season.

wya is the Charge's first ever promotion from their academy team. The Charge first formed an academy team at the beginning of 2019 and made three of their players two-way players to play on it. They later acquired The One Winner as their academy squad and left the roster untouched until their promotion of wya.

The Charge now have nine players signed to their roster. That meets the league minimum of eight players that teams must meet by November 15.
