The first two weeks of the Overwatch League are in the books, and the season is already filled with surprises. The Dallas Fuel find themselves winless after four matches and down a player for the first stage of the season. The San Francisco Shock toppled the Boston Uprising in an exciting set a mere week after being the only team to drop a map to the League's last place team, the Shanghai Dragons.

Of course, the season hasn't been all upsets in its first couple of weeks of infancy. The three all-Korean rosters are at the top of the standings, each undefeated through four matches. The Seoul Dynasty have looked unbeatable thus far, while the New York Excelsior don't seem too far behind. The London Spitfie remain unscathed after a fierce five maps with the Los Angeles Valiant, who are looking to be early playoff favorites.

More exciting matchups are on the horizon for the third week of Overwatch League play. Finally, Korean giants will enter the ring against each other, while middling teams will continue to duke it out with each other, and maybe Dallas might finally win a match. Let over.gg be your eyes for Week 3 as we preview this week's most promising matches, list the schedule and cover all eligible players on every roster. Matches will continue to be available on Twitch, MLG and the Overwatch League website while live match scores will be provided on the event page.

Matches of the Week

It will have taken three weeks this season to finally guarantee a Korean team won't be undefeated. While some of the most promising western and mixed teams have gotten to have a go at the Korean giants, namely the Los Angeles Valiant and the Dallas Fuel, there has yet to be a match between two all-Korean rosters. This match will change that. In the early stages of the season, these two teams appear to be the best in the league, even better than the last remaining all-Korean team, the London Spitfire. This match should be exciting and one of the greatest showcases of skill Overwatch has to offer. It will be Ryujehong versus JJonaK, Pine versus Fleta, and Miro versus Mano. If there is only one match you can watch this week, make it this one.

Dallas Fuel @ San Francisco Shock

Normally, the more a team loses the less compelling they are to watch. That's not the case with the Dallas Fuel. With every loss the more exciting their upcoming games become, and the more people want to scroll through the match ticker and find the match that will break the Fuel out of their opening slump. This might very well be the match.

Los Angeles Gladiators @ Houston Outlaws

The last match of the week is sure to bring another another exciting middle of the table match, that should give us some kind of indication of where Houston really stands. After a relatively lacking first week, with losses to the Fusion and Excelsior, the Outlaws came back last week with a more standard lineup and a stomping of the floundering Shanghai Dragons. They also managed to pick up a one-sided victory over a Dallas Fuel squad that is still struggling to find its footing. After stomping on the bottom teams, getting stomped by the top teams, and playing an extremely tight match of their own against the Philadelphia Fusion, it seems clear that the Gladiators are a team that belongs in the middle of the pack. This will be a chance for the Outlaws to show whether we should expect them to regularly perform like the team from last week or regularly perform like the team from Week 1.
