Lunatic-Hai have kicked their flex player, YARG, for boosting and account selling violations in both Overwatch and League of Legends. YARG joined Lunatic-Hai late last year as they finalized a new roster for their main squad.

These violations have been rumored ever since it was announced that YARG had joined the team. This is not the first time that Lunatic-Hai have kicked members of their Overwatch department, with claris and Munchkin previously losing spots on the team before Apex Season 3 due to controversies of their own. Boosting has also been a hot topic in the Korean scene lately, given the suspension of Philadelphia Fusion main tank, sado, for extensive boosting offenses before he joined the Fusion.

YARG generally performed strongly with Lunatic-Hai in the Nexus Cup Annual Finals and will be difficult to replace. Tryouts for the vacant spot will be held in the near future as Lunatic-Hai prepare for the first season of Contenders Korea.

The current Lunatic-Hai roster is now:

  • Lee "Whoru" Seung-joon (DPS)
  • Jeong "Nenne" Yeon-kwan (DPS)
  • Kim "DoHyeon" Do-hyeon (Flex)
  • Cho "Guardian" Joon-hwan (Tank)
  • Bong "Sowhat" Woo-yeon (Tank)
  • Kim "Alarm" Kyeong-bo (Support)
  • Park "iDK" Ho-jin (Support)
