At the "Inside The Overwatch League panel" at Blizzcon, Commissioner Nate Nanzer announced, among other news, the Overwatch League companion website, along with a companion mobile app and details on the merchandise shop for the league.

The revamped overwatchleague.com website was launched at the start of the Blizzcon panel. The first round of video content was released, including videos such as "Watch How Heroes Are Born", "Coolmatt's Underdog Moment", and "These Are Your Overwatch League Team Rosters". Also included are pages detailing the Team Rosters and Match Schedule. In the future, pages on Standings and Stats will be released for viewers to follow their favorite teams and players. Fans will also be able to log in using their Battle.net account and compare their stats to the pros.

A companion mobile app for Overwatch League was also announced, designed to mirror the desktop website's functionality and give fans access to their favorite teams from wherever they are. Headline features of the app include live game stats and access to live streams of Overwatch League games. The app will be launched in time for the preseason.

The Overwatch League will offer viewers a wide range of merchandise in an online shop, including everything from the usual jerseys and hats to socks. A selection of merchandise was shown off at the panel:
