Absolutely historical match. Personally sad that Seoul couldn't pull through, but amazing game nevertheless. So many highlights. God damn I wish that coulda been played in front of a crowd, my heart was racing

So you acknowledge the impact of covid, then continue on to criticize them for coming out with drops late. How does that make sense?

He could mean it like "wtf how is that fair shock got even more op"
Probably not but possibly yes

I agree show it as much as possible, but when absolutely everything they said to chipsa was ironic such as calling him "the best player in the world" multiple times it gets a little annoying. They gave dafran and xqc more attention but at least they didnt make a meme of the league

posted about 3 years ago

I'm glad that chipsa played but I think the pushed the meme a bit too hard. The casting was1almost 100% about chipsa and then he got a post match interview too which was not taken seriously. I was hoping for questions like "does being a meme affect you"/"do you wish people took you more seriously" if you wanted to talk about that topic. It just seems unprofessional and kinda disrespectful to the league and opponents. I guess it would be kinda hard to stay focused and serious when chipsa is playing when it's all online. And it was a good laugh. I just hope its not like that next time.

dont see how that is owls fault. ur kinda naive if u expected them to continue to dominate forever had apex remained the thing

i dont even know dude. the level of incompetence is just inexpiable for a fairly talented team with profession coaching staff. Toronto defiant is a good bad team. They lose but at least they look like they have played the game before, and look somewhat competitive against most teams. Boston look like they only log into ow once or twice a week just to feed the enemy owl team.

Hopefully end of this year too. They holding their own until then, not at full strength

In hindsight, the reverse sweep isn't very surprising. Map 1, it seemed like shanghai won every fight, but then somehow managed to lose. Map 2 was super close and it was becoming clear that nyxl wasnt as strong in the mirror, but hog caught the dragons off guard. I did not expect the last 3 maps to be quite so dominant though

To people saying that it's dumb to spend money when it's not even released yet: if sentinels didn't pick up sinatraa someone else would've. Yeah it's a risk but a risk some orgs are willing to take. If the game pops off like they hope, they're gonna be in a really good position.

However while fleta played well it was really Lip who popped the fuck off, he definitely seemed like the best dps on the field that game

It frustrates me to no end that anyone not on the "mouffin is a predator" bandwagon gets called a disgusting rape apologist. Like you said, there better had been proper evidence to terminate his contract not just twitter conspiracies.

What a crazy game. If you didn't watch it live, this is definitely one where I strongly recommend you watch the vod. So good. personally disappointed that CDH lost but such an entertaining match

I am the same, although I am a little worried about viewer counts because if it get's to low, the show won't go on. So for purely selfish reasons it's in my best interests for there to be high popularity

Wait what

Yeah, I agree not to be too hasty to rate them highly, but they still did better than I expected. Also it's really fun watching versatile teams

I didnt wake up in time for map 1, but apparently that was the right call. This game was insane. I definitely underestimated toronto. Sure, there was a bit of a choke from the side of the fusion, but defiant held their own. Three takeaways:

  • I can't tell if Beast is feeding or carrying.
  • S4 > logix
  • Sado doesn't die anymore

Hyped for this game, mainly because it will be the best game of the weekend imo.

Edit: carpe really rolled this game, especially first 2 maps. Not only clutch , actually just shit on them the entire time

posted about 4 years ago

that is very bold. I think houston is probably still around bottom 2 but I think they will perform better if they had an actual good comp (heroes and players) and strategy.

posted about 4 years ago

you probably know this by now, but sickness. A bunch of their players had the flu

posted about 4 years ago

if by hella strong you mean kinda decent then yes I agree

This meta is really fun so far. Rein McCree and Ana are all super healthy characters IMO. And seems like there is room for flexibility in some dive, nano blade, widowmaker, DF. Also, I know lots of people hate mei, but I think her ice wall is a really cool ability for a team based shooter. DVA might be a little OP tho. She was constantly flanking and could easily get out with her boosters. Although I prefer Dva to Orissa so idm. All this based on a plebs view of the dallas homestand games.

This is a great change imo, I really hate orange.

and the miami heat copied... who knows how many teams. Do you really think they were the first to do it. It even says in this post that this colour scheme was first popularised by the hit 1980s TV show Miami Vice."

I know this is an extremely early look and means almost nothing but a bit of fun, but I'm still surprised you put dragons in 4th. They finished last season in 11th place with a 13/15 record and barely upgraded this off-season, doesn't seem like a 7 spot jump to me.

High IQ typo so you are right even if he 'dies' or 'does pop off' 😂

You made an NBA comparison, so let me ask you, how does supporting the NBA work in Finland? A common question you might hear in Australia is "who are you going for this season". With (obviously) no teams from Australia, why would anyone be invested in a team rather than a player. In Australia the 76er's are very popular because of Ben Simmons. When gets traded or retires do you expect millions of Australians to still loyally support the 76er's? Because it won't be the case, doesn't mean they were 'fake fans' though.

I agree titans should be in it to win it, but they came runner up overall and won a stage with bumper, its not like he was a liability

posted about 4 years ago

he is easily owl good. have you seen what he does on ladder while getting preposterously unlucky and with dogshit team-mates. He is hands down the best doom right now and has been pretty much since the heroes release, so when he gets on a team with pros he is basically going to shit on everyone.

posted about 4 years ago

not Vancouver

posted about 4 years ago

fuck the titans for doing this. I love runaway and I love bumper and Vancouver is just tryna ruin their legacy. they were runners up and won a stage! why remove a valuable and OG player.. wtfffff

posted about 4 years ago

yeah, I was wrong lol. It does make sense to me now since Meko is very charismatic imo, even to western audiences (coming from nyxl helps), so HOU can keep their fan favourite identity.
