Klaus first made his way into the spotlight after playing for Team Argentina in the 2017 World Cup, where his breakout performance, specifically on Tracer, immediately made him a star and one of the most well-known players from South America.

He remained with his World Cup teammates as the squad became a club team under the name KARMA, and instantly found success as they won several South American tournaments alongside a quickly formed rivalry with South America's traditional powerhouse, Brasil Gaming House.

Prior to Contenders, Klaus and his teammates signed with Isurus Gaming, and found their way back into the title game as they went up against Brasil Gaming House once again. BGH however triumphed over Isurus to win the inaugural season of Contenders South America.

Isurus Gaming previously made their first roster change during Contenders, and will now need to make another addition to fill the shoes of Klaus before the start of the next Contenders season.
