The Bazooka Puppiez have announced their roster is disbanding after the team failed to qualify for playoffs in Contenders Europe.

The Bazooka Puppiez began their journey in Contenders Season Zero in June of 2017, when they went on a Cinderella run to be one of two unsigned teams to qualify in the top four of Europe. The performance earned them a place in Contenders Season One.

They would not see the same level of success in Contenders Season One, and in fact failed to secure a win. The team disbanded after internal conflicts plagued their season, but the team hinted at a rebuild for the return of Contenders.

The new roster was finally announced in December with Meza and Mete returning to the squad. The team retained their spot to compete in Contenders 2018 Season 1.

The new Bazooka Puppiez went 1-4 in the new season of Contenders, losing in their final match of the season with a playoff spot on the line to Young and Beautiful. They were just one spot short of a playoff spot.

Although Bazooka Puppiez have been looking for an organization since their founding, they failed to secure themselves one. While the team would get still get a chance to play into the next season of Contenders through Contenders Trials, they have instead opted to split in search of better opportunities.

The Bazooka Puppiez were:

  • German "Nesh" Kobrin (DPS)
  • Karol "DANYE" Szcześniak (DPS)
  • Metehan "Mete" Aksüt (Flex)
  • Mihail Cristian "Meza" Păunecu (Tank)
  • Viktors "Forsak3n" Bernevs (Support)
  • Dennis "Dennia" Forsblom (Support)
  • Andrey "FrAgOn" Katz (Coach)
