Miraculous Youngster and ViCi Gaming continued their recent form in the quarterfinals, with both teams sweeping their opponents in dominant fashion. As the victors and runners-up of the Premier Series Summer respectively, few were surprised by the teams' easy victories against lower seeded squads in the quarterfinals.

1246's path to qualification was not so easy, as FTD Club proved to be a serious challenge for the Spring series victors. Their quarterfinal match was neck and neck throughout but 1246 managed to come out on top, securing a 3-2 victory.

Miracle Team One will be the remainder of China's representation in the APAC Premier. With LGD Gaming struggling due to internal conflict, alongside star DPS player uNdeAD suffering from a wrist injury, Miracle Team One were able to continue their rise to the top of China's competitive Overwatch scene and advance to the semifinals in a 3-1 victory.

These four Chinese teams will join eight other participants sourced from APEX, the Pacific Championship and Contenders in the APAC Premier 2017, which is set to start on 19th October. The remaining invites to the tournament are expected to be announced soon, with Contenders underdogs EnVision eSports rumored to already have secured a spot in the tournament.
