how good is the netcode in this game/what is the lag compensation like?
how viable is 100 ping (or 60?). what heroes are the best on high ping?

hit reg is really good. high ping is very viable. there's a ton of getting lamed by high ping around corners and stuff though. it might even be forced high ping like sc2 has.

ive been playin on 200+ ping for most of my hrs, the hitreg is client side so if you would had hit the enemy on a low ping you will hit him on higher as well just takes longer to register

hitscan is fine at 100 ping, projectiles need work though. feels like they could be a lot better, I imagine there's no lag compensation for them atm. visually it looks bad and delayed, playing is alright, you get used to it. playing junkrat is where there's issues, his primary is pretty fast so there's lots of bad visuals with registration. it's harder to hit directs. I only have 100 ping to go by as a reference.
