After several months of stagnancy despite a blockbuster trade in November of 2016, Misfits have decided to upgrade their roster in order to meet Overwatch League expectations. Earlier this week, main tank Reinforce announced his desire to play for other rosters as he would be relegated to Misfits' bench. Many wondered whether Nevix would leave after seemingly failing to mesh with the current team, but news broke that he would join the new Cloud9 after they acquired Laser Kittenz.

After some downtime, the team settled on replacing their former players with one of the most formidable duos from the fallen Movistar Riders of old in Logix and CWoosH. Alongside these two, Zebbosai retook his old role on Lucio, while Zuppehw of Gigantti joined to complete the roster. Gone is the old full-Swedish roster of Misfits, as a new, cohesive mixed roster looks to step in and take its place from here on out.

I sat down with one of the newest members of the crew in CWoosH to discuss his new opportunity and what he expects out of the fresh Misfits.

Everybody figured you would be joining Misfits in one form or another after your World Cup showing and especially after Movistar Riders disbanded, but they probably didn't think you'd join in this capacity. How does it feel to be a part of this org?

It feels amazing. To get the opportunity to play with some of the most skilled players in EU is awesome!

You were recognized by almost everyone for your Genji and Pharah play but will be moving off the role for the new team—do you have any reservations about the role swap? Was this something the team decided or that you chose for yourself?

I had been thinking for a while about switching to the tank role. I really enjoy playing tank and I think the skillset of Genji which is a lot about positioning and game-sense will transfer very well to tank, especially Winston. I chose it for myself as a challenge and something new and fresh to dig my teeth into.

Do you feel just as confident should Reinhardt come back into the metagame? Or has dive basically been your bread and butter?

I have been practicing Reinhardt on the more Reinhardt-friendly maps (King's Row, Hollywood first point). Still need to put in a lot of hours to get it up to par, and hopefully get some scrims against Fragi the Reinhardt god.

Speaking of Fragi, the team picked up another ex-ninja and Logix. How did you decide on the final two members? Did the slots simply work out or was it determined through a lot of trials?

Logix was confirmed some weeks ago as far as I know, but we trialled some different flex supports and Zuppehw was picked in the end.

Do you have any expectations for this season of Contenders? TviQ was very optimistic when I spoke to him, and now that you've been scrimming a while you should have some indication of where you stand.

I think we will do well, we have been doing very well in scrims!

The last thing I wanted to know was whether there's any apprehension with some members of the team having to switch from a full-Swedish roster to a now-mixed one. Do you think the transition will be easy?

I think it will take some time to get all the callouts on the different maps correct, but we'll get there. Zebbosai thinks it's hard to call in English right now so sometimes there is some Swenglish!

When in doubt, he can still call every protrusion "dildo!" Do you have any final words, perhaps for the Misfits and old Movistar Riders fans out there?

There is a lot of dildos and dicks on every map! I hope you will have faith in me as the tank for Misfits, I will do my absolute best to become the Miro of Europe. Thank you and cheer for us in Season 1!
