Per sources, Alicus's team Laser Kittenz received some new blood before the HND Invitational this weekend, where they will compete. The news also comes before their bootcamp in Korea, where they will scrim teams in one of the most competitive regions in the world in order to improve as quickly as possible.

The team announced that German skipjack will join the lineup on loan from Rogue, with a buyout and substantial compensation already negotiated. Joining him will be Spanish star Linepro, who has reportedly signed his contract with the team earlier today. He will be best known for his time competing with the Spanish national team at BlizzCon last year, and he will fill in for the vacant Lucio role.

Reports also indicate that notable flex player Sypeh will also join the team as a trialling member, as he looks to become a permanent fixture for their roster. He will compete for the starting spot against Korean EFFECT, who plans to try out for a spot while the team is in Korea.

Earlier reports indicate that both Munchkin and Claris were in preliminary talks with the organization, but the pair signed with Lunatic-Hai recently and will compete in APEX with the reigning champions.

When we reached out for comment regarding the roster, Laser Kittenz CEO Alicus said "I can confirm that we will be playing with this lineup tomorrow."

As it stands, the lineup for the HND Invitational is as follows:

  • Carl "crems" Aspehult (DPS)
  • Finley "Kyb" Adisi (Flex)
  • Mikkel "Sypeh" Klein (Flex)
  • Nicolas "skipjack" Rosada (Tank)
  • Luís "Greyy" Perestrelo (Support)
  • Ivo "Linepro" Krasimirov (Support)
