Fahzix has announced his retirement from professional Overwatch.

Fahzix plans to pursue collegiate Overwatch and his studies. “I want to cement myself as the first OWL player to play in collegiate Overwatch,” said Fahzix in a TwitLonger post. “I can not stress how important this is for me and for the future of collegiate esports in general. This means I will have to completely cut my streaming career. I just will not have the time [to] study, practice, and stream.”

Fahzix primarily played support throughout his career. His first notable appearance in the competitive scene was on LATT5 in late 2016. He later joined EnVision eSports in 2017, where his achievements with the team include first place at DreamHack Montreal 2017 and a top four finish in Contenders Season 1: North America that year.

In early 2018, he joined NRG Esports. With NRG, they won the Pit Championship - North America Season 3, and placed in the top four in Contenders Season 2: North America that year.

In late 2018, he was signed by the Washington Justice, one of the new Overwatch League expansion teams for the 2019 season. He only played in Stage 1 that season, and moved back home in April of this year. The Justice later announced in August that the two parties split.
