News recently broke that 123's main tank player, Tonic, was unable to secure a visa to enter the United States and play in the Contenders Season One LAN event. Consequently, 123 have brought in Nomy, who was recently announced as the main tank player for San Francisco's Overwatch League team.

Nomy is best known for his time with Immortals. However, he was released from the team after Korean players KariV, Fate and envy joined. Nomy participated in tier two North American competitions with Hard Retweet and Virtue before it was announced that he had been signed to the San Francisco Overwatch League franchise owned by NRG.

Nomy will fill the void left by Tonic's absence at the main tank position. His involvement with 123 will only be for the duration of the Season One LAN.

Unfortunately, the team will only be able to practice with him after their arrival. 123's first match is slated for October 7th against the second seed Gigantti.

123's roster for the Contenders Season One LAN will be:

  • Simon "snillo" Ekström (DPS)
  • Hafþór "Hafficool" Hákonarson (Flex)
  • Finnbjörn "Finnsi" Jónasson (Flex)
  • David "Nomy" Ramirez (Stand-in/Tank)
  • Jakob "bock1" Kleveland (Support)
  • Dennis "Dennia" Forsblom (Support)
