Seismic shifts are happening at the very top of European Overwatch. Rumours emerged that star DPS duo Kevyn "TviQ" Lindström and Lucas "Mendokusaii" Håkansson had parted ways with world number one powerhouse, IDDQD.

The whole affair seems to be wrapped in mystery at this stage, but TviQ did confirm to over.gg that he has left the roster. The man of few words went on to share that a new team is incoming of which five players are confirmed, but beyond that he was remaining tight lipped.

Mendokusaii declined to comment.

We contacted Dennis "INTERNETHULK" Hawelka, IDDQD’s captain, to confirm the situation. Here is what he had to say on the matter:

Mendo and TviQ will leave the team, they feel they found another option for them.

We as a team will stay together and will be as strong, if not stronger in the future.

We wish TviQ the best of luck wherever he goes.”

At present there are a lot of questions remaining unanswered, one of the more pressing being what line-up will IDDQD be fielding in the ONOG Invitational in less than 48 hours?

This story is evolving behind closed doors as we speak, but so far the only concrete detail is that TviQ and Mendokusaii are no longer representing IDDQD. That in itself is big news for competitive Overwatch, but we will endeavour to bring you all the developments as they unfold.
