Korean organization Element Mystic Element Mystic Inactive Roxy Park Si Heon off tank Just Shin Hyun-sung (신현성) dps MN3 Yoon Jae-hee dps Kellan Kim Min-jae tank Attack Kim Jun-hwa tank Jayhun Han Ji-hun support has announced the departure of tank player Takoyaki from the team.

Takoyaki joined Element Mystic in November 2018 just prior to the beginning of Contenders 2018 Season 3 as his first foray into Contenders. Under the team, he placed second in that season, falling to RunAway in the grand finals.

In 2019, he would split time on the main tank position with Alpha. Takoyaki only played one map for Element Mystic during the Pacific Showdown, and played just twelve maps in the regular season of Contenders 2019 Season 2. He was then a no-show during Element Mystic's championship-winning Gauntlet run.

Just over two weeks ago, Element Mystic announced that they would be promoting main tank player Kellan from their academy team among several roster changes. Element Mystic also played with three players from their academy team during the NeXT tournament, but their statuses with the main team are currently unknown.

Element Mystic will play in the Contenders seeding tournament next week.
