The Hangzhou Spark Hangzhou Spark OWL Rank #9 Ria Park Seong-wook (박성욱) off tank BeBe Yoon Hui-Chang (윤희창) flex support Adora Kang Jae-Hwan (강재환) dps GodsB Kim Kyeon-Bo (김경보) dps Architect Park Min-ho (박민호) dps guxue Xu Qiulin (徐秋林) tank iDK Park Ho-jin (박호진) support announced that DPS player for the team Krystal will be suspended indefinitely from the Overwatch League due to numerous violations in personal discipline on the team. In addition, the Spark have also enlisted the help of the T&C Law Firm in Shanghai for guidance in this matter.

The Spark had previously warned and fined Krystal for not returning to the team after his 10-day leave to meet a sick family member had elapsed. According to the player on Weibo, he claimed issues in the visa reapplication process had delayed his return and that he wasn't informed of the company's policy surrounding extending leave.

Since then, however, the supervisor for the Spark, Longduo, contradicted the claims and published a series of other allegations (English translation) against Krystal.

Spanning before the current Overwatch League season began, the allegations included numerous occasions of feigning illness to skip practice, intentionally delaying his arrival to the United States during the preseason, and disrupting the coaches' plans for the team.

Krystal promised to respond to this new set of allegations, but has not done so at the time of writing this article.

Krystal first debuted with team during Stage 2, and had since split time with fellow DPS player Adora during that stage. The team has not fielded Krystal since Stage 3, and will not for this stage either following his indefinite suspension.
