The Boston Uprising have announced the roster of their academy team, Toronto Esports. The team features three American players from their undefeated Open Division roster playing alongside three Korean players coming from different teams.

nero, Dalton and Moth will retain their places in the Toronto Esports organization, now as part of the Boston academy team. They are joined by Pumple, GuardiaN and ShU. Pumple and ShU are both Flash Lux graduates, although Pumple played for the organization in 2016 while ShU was with the team in mid to late 2017.

Four of the team's six had been included in last month's ESPN report as members of the Toronto Esports roster. The three American players, plus GuardiaN, were all accurately reported, while main tank OGE was also included in the roster. Toronto was the only team at the time to not have at least six players listed at the time of the report.

Toronto Esports play their first match of Overwatch Contenders Sunday, March 11 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time against XL2.

The Toronto Esports roster is:

  • Charlie "nero" Zwang (DPS)
  • Dalton "Dalton" Bennyhoff (DPS)
  • Cho "GuardiaN" Joon-hwan (조준환) (Flex)
  • Lee "Pumple" Jeong-hoon (이정훈) (Tank)
  • Kim "ShU" Jin-seo (Support)
  • Grant "Moth" Espe (Support)
