Rogue have announced the addition of former Movistar Riders tank Kolsti to their Contenders Season One squad. Declared as a substitute, the French tank will line out for Rogue during Week 2 when winz will be competing at QuakeCon with Team Liquid.

Contenders rules stipulate a maximum roster size of nine, with six starters and three subs. Rogue have list Kolsti and, in case of emergency, their coach Lanf3ust as eligible players in addition to their core six.

Rogue's certified payload driver winz will be handing over Lucio duties to KnOxXx whilst he competes with Team Liquid's Quake Champions Sacrifice team at QuakeCon from 24th-27th August. Those dates coincide with Week 2 of Contenders when Rogue are set to face Detroit Renegades.

Having been an active competitor in the bustling French Overwatch scene since launch, Kolsti became impossible to ignore as a genuine tank talent in late 2016 while playing for GamersOrigin. In January he was headhunted by the Movistar Riders organisation who had set about building what would become a global top ten roster as they dominated Europe's online tournaments before finishing 4th at TaKeOver and 7-8th in Contenders Season Zero. Movistar Riders stepped back from Overwatch in early July, releasing their players to free agency.

Kolsti will not be relocating to Rogue's Las Vegas team house, and will instead be battling the latency from France. It is unclear if he will play with Rogue in the future, but this tweet from uNKOE seems to play down the prospects of this being anything more than a one time gig. For now, Kolsti has simply secured himself a valuable four maps' worth of time in the Overwatch League shop window.
