Lunatic-Hai's new sister team has been revealed live on stream after weeks of rumors that the organisation had formed an additional team. Former players of BK Stars, CONBOX, MVP Infinity and ROX Orcas have come together to form the new roster. The team faced off against the main Lunatic-Hai roster in a PTR show-match, which was produced and streamed by CONTENTSBOX.

Players Alarm and Bunny played for the now disbanded BK Stars in all three season of APEX, accumulating a wealth of experience on Korea's biggest stage. Unsurprisingly, Bunny has once again received the responsibility of DPS duties, considered by many to be one of Korea's finest Tracer players. Alarm will continue to play flex-support, as he did on BK Stars. Unlike his fellow ex-Stars, DoHyeon only played in the first season of APEX before a lengthy absence from the competitive scene. He will make his return on a new role, transitioning from DPS to main tank.

MyungHoon also brings valuable experience to the team, having played in the first two seasons of APEX with CONBOX before leaving the active roster. MyungHoon is currently planned to play DPS, showcasing his Genji during tonight's show-match.

Flash and Guardian round out the squad as the team's least experienced players. Both have experience playing in Challengers but neither have played in the main division of APEX. Flash and Guardian will play support and flex respectively.

The name of the sister squad has not yet been finalized and thus the team will be referred to as Luantic-Hai #2 until a name is decided upon. Lunatic-Hai #2 plan on initiating their climb of the Apex ladder through the Korean Open Division.

The Lunatic-Hai #2 roster is:

  • Chae "Bunny" Joon-hyuk (DPS)
  • Cho "MyungHoon" Sung Min (DPS)
  • Cho "Guardian" Joon-hwan (Flex)
  • Kim "Dohyeon" Do-hyeon (Tank)
  • Kim "Alarm" Kyeong-bo (Support)
  • Lee "Flash" Yeong-ho (Support)
