According to Vancouver's news release, Luminosity will help the franchise in signing players and staff, managing day-to-day operations, marketing and more.
Luminosity first entered Overwatch in March of 2016 when the organization signed the roster of mixup, which would later be picked up by NRG Esports. The team next signed a roster made up of European players that would later become LG Loyal, which would serve as a sister team to LG Evil. Following LG Evil's failure to qualify for Contenders Season One North America in 2017, the roster would disband. Luminosity has not signed another Overwatch roster since.
Vancouver has yet to officially announce the signings of any coaches or players.
