Esports organisation Orbit has picked up an Oceanic team, formerly known as nosebreathers, to compete under their banner. The team is currently playing within the top10 in Oceania, with hopes of raising their level now that they have a more stable home.

The team now known as Orbit have been competing in Oceanic cups for weeks, steadily improving along with the pack and keeping themselves within reaching distance of glory. They are currently pegged at #9 in the Oceanic Overwatch Power Rankings, and sit at #10 on GosuGamers.

Orbit picks up an Australian team

Flex player daft spoke on joining Orbit:

We are eager to represent the Orbit name down under for such a large game as Overwatch, we have seen what other teams have achieved and we know with their support we have the potential to make waves not only in Oceania but worldwide.

Orbit's co-owner, Robbie Meade, made a statement on the website as well:

We have been searching for a team to increase our worldwide presence for some time now, as you may know we have teams across the world in places like: the US, Canada, New Zealand and Bulgaria and we felt that picking up this Australian roster we have completed our goal, we have been scouting and researching this team for a while now and we can see true potential in them to make a statement globally and put Oceanic eSports on the map.
