Pog Fucking Champ
Little triggered how the same flags are not together.
This is the match I've been waiting to see for so long. nV facing off against western teams again, but this time with an absolute beast of a Tracer in EFFECT. Really looking forward to see what the pecking order of the apparent top three teams will look like after this season.
i like nV flags portfolio better so nV>IMT
This has been done before but can we fix IMT's flag distribution? It's very important for flag meta coherence.
Our very #-of-matches-biased ELO system is in for a surprise once Contenders starts.
I see Immortals is rocking the Koreans and the Americans sandwiched between two Canadians. immortals have sandwich meta can't lose
A hell of a match about to happen and all the comments are all about flag distribution. This is why I come here instead of reddit, this forums knows how to prioritize things.
I don't know how IMT will do here. I think this will be close.
IMT 2-2 nV
I said IMT 3-2 at first, but it's not bo5
Its safe to say this will either be a really sick close game or a surprise blow out from either side lol.
i'm surprise many are favoring IMT over NV
One of the most anticipated games in the NA side of Contenders. IMT's recent form has been amazing, and they, by now, had the extra time to refine their strats and comms. EnVy, on the other hand, is the most consistant roster the game has seen, always topping whatever region they're playing in, great group of guys, lots of experience, you name it.
Now EnVy's Achilles heel hero-wise would be that they don't have a Pharah player, and we saw from past games that Pharamercy is probably the best counter to a solid Torb-Orisa defense.
I don't know if IMT has been practicing it, I'd like to think so, but if they pull it off, it could prove to be an uphill battle for EnVy seeing how the game's format involves 2 payload maps and an assault one, all of which are very much Torb friendly bar maybe Anubis, Route 66 and definitely King's Row.
Also hyped to see some more Doomfist action on a pro level. Very promising game, 3-1 IMT for me.
Has anybody been playing doomfist recently in NV?
PogChamp COOL VEST PogChamp WEIRD TIE PogChamp MUST BE PogChamp RIGHT GUY PogChamp
I'm torn... I want IMT to win, but I want to encourage the non-dive meta Envy is using... What do I do!
Man these casters are terrible, talking about trees and airports wtf? talk about the game, what happened or what you expect to happen yet these guys have nothing to say after 2 rounds.
God it's so confusing when casters are calling Envyus Envy, and there's a player called Envy on IMT.
Is it suddenly time to stop calling teams by their actual names now? Sure its a little nitpicky but hearing "Envy doing blabla" when theres a player called Envy on a different team is beyond frustrating to understand what the fuck they are talking about.
Is it really so difficult to say "EnvyUs" to get some clarity.
:telephone_receiver: BabyRage BabyRage HELLO ENVY? :telephone_receiver: BabyRage THIS IS NORTH AMERICA :telephone_receiver: BabyRage CAN YOU PLEASE GO BACK TO KOREA? :telephone_receiver: BabyRage
Damn. EnVy's plain rolling right now. I guess you can't compare playing vs Korean teams for months with competing in NA.
First game I see Fate completely shut down, Envy loses mech so fast, and Grim and Agilities can't do anything.
Scratch that, rolling and smoking. Mickie just farmed Grav in 2 fights...
The experience they've had in Korea really should lead to them stomping almost every team. The Korean environment is just so much better than anywhere else.
100%. And it was mostly a reply to me anticipating a 3-1 for IMT, couldn't have been more wrong.
Not saying IMT is garbage or anything, but nV never stops amazing me..
Time for IMT to go bootcamp in Korea? nV looked so good with their engages, strats in general and the potency of their comps. Very impressive, they made IMT look very lost.
gotta say, nV's experience in korea and playing against dive teams definitely showed up here. IMT's talent wasn't enough, it seems. hard to top a team with as much experience as nV.
