The Uprising did not reveal how long would be gone or the nature of the procedure.

Axxiom started for the Uprising in the team's first two matches of the season. He has missed the team's three matches since then. Axxiom joined the team last season but played in few matches

Starting in his place has been Fusions, who started over Axxiom for much of last season. It is likely Fusions will continue to start while Axxiom is away.

The Uprising have just one main tank player currently available as a result of Axxiom's absence. They have eight available players on their roster.

The Uprising's next match is this upcoming Sunday against the Florida Mayhem in Florida. It will be their third match against a home team this season.
