The Chengdu Hunters Chengdu Hunters OWL Rank #13 Mmonk Zhou Xiang (周翔) flex support Daizi Ni Yuandong (倪远东) off tank Jinmu Yi Hu (易虎) dps Leave Huang Xin (黄馨) dps GA9A Qiu Jiaxin (仇佳鑫) tank Nisha Tan Li (谭力) support have announced the additions of RUI as the team's head coach and Ray as their assistant coach on Weibo.

RUI was the head coach of the Shanghai Dragons in the first season of the Overwatch League, although he only had the role for part of the season. He was signed by the Dragons at the beginning of the season, but was unable to join the team in Los Angeles until later. When the Dragons' first head coach, U4, stepped down from his role in March, assistant coach Kong filled in his role. RUI became head coach sometime later.

However, RUI did not remain with the Dragons for the remainder of the season. He left the team due to neck arthritis just before the beginning of Stage 4. Once again, Kong filled in as the head coach of the winless Dragons roster.

Prior to joining the Dragons, RUI was the head coach of Miraculous Youngster. They were the Premier Series 2017 champions under his leadership.

Ray was the head coach of Flash Wolves in 2017. With his help, the Taiwanese squad took first place in the first season of the Pacific Championship and finished second in the Pacific Championship Season 2.

The Hunters have yet to officially announce any of their player signings. They posted a picture of their roster with their faces hidden on Weibo a few days ago.

The Overwatch League seasons begins February 14.
