Last Friday came the announcement of the CyberGamer OCE Circuit, an $11,000 AUD league for both professional and amateur players to be hosted over a 7 week period, all leading up to a LAN finals early in June.

The league will start off with an online qualifier on the 3rd-4th April, until which signups will be open. The qualifiers will determine the top 8 teams (4 teams from each night) who will be competing in the CyberGamer Professional division, which boasts a $10,000 prize pool. Signups are open to Australian teams (with a maximum of one extra international player) whose players all have CyberGamer Premium. Any teams who do not make the cut for the CyberGamer Professional division will be allowed to compete in the CyberGamer Amateur division in pursuit of a $1,000 prize pool.

The CyberGamer Professional division will be hosted on the Monday and Tuesday of every week from 10th April until 23rd May. At the end of the series, the top 4 teams from each division will advance to their respective finals, which will include best-of-3 semifinals and best-of-5 grand finals.
