They are the first new additions to the Fuel this offseason.

The trio competed with the Eternal for the 2020 season, where they won the Summer Showdown in North America and finished in the top eight of the region’s playoffs. The Overwatch League's contract page said that SP9RK1E and hanbin's 2021 options were exercised by the Eternal.

The moves were first reported by Arran “Halo” Brown, and comes after the Fuel parted ways with nearly everyone on their roster this offseason minus Doha, who was the only player that was re-signed for the 2021 season.

All three also reunite with Doha and coach Yong back from their time on Element Mystic in Korea. The team won multiple titles in 2019, including The Gauntlet that year, before they went their separate ways in the Overwatch League.

The Eternal are also in the midst of a number of changes to their roster after parting ways with three players as well as the rest of their coaching staff this week.

The Fuel looks to continue their rebuild after their 13th place finish in the 2020 regular season and their elimination in the second round of play-ins in the North American playoffs.
