WOOHYAL was previously with Gen.G esports since February of 2019, competing in Contenders and placing in the top four in the Gauntlet last year. He only played three matches with them this year before he parted ways in May. He also played for the London Spitfire in the inaugural Overwatch League season.

RunAway were the runner-ups in Contenders 2020 Season 1: Korea, and have earned a qualification for the next season following a number of changes to Contenders worldwide. The season begins on August 20.
