The Toronto Defiant Toronto Defiant OWL Rank #14 Twilight Lee Joo-seok (이주석) flex support Heesu Jeong Hee-su (정희수) dps Finale dps MuZe Kim Young-hun (김영훈) tank Ch0r0ng support have confirmed the addition of numlocked to their roster. He will be joining as a tank player rather than as a coach.

Adam Adamou, co-founder of Defiant parent company OverActive Media, said in an interview that numlocked had joined the team as a coach. He left open the possibility that numlocked could play for the team by mentioning his potential as an in-game leader.

This is his first return to the Overwatch League since he was not re-signed by the Valiant in the offseason following the 2018 season. He has played on three academy teams since then, most recently on the Defiant's own academy team before they disbanded their operations.

He is the Defiant's second main tank player, joining Beast. The Defiant have 10 players in total now.

The Defiant have undergone many changes in the past move, first losing their main support -- Kellex -- to retirement and replacing him with Kruise. Mangachu, who hasn't played a map for the Defiant this season, transitioned into a coach while remaining on the team's roster and DPS player zYKK was signed to a 14-day contract just before the May Melee began.

The Overwatch League has yet to reveal the Defiant's or any other team's next matches.
