The organization made their entrance into Overwatch by acquiring Moss Seven Club’s roster in August 2018, who had competed in Contenders China beforehand. Two of their players, DPS Ameng and tank player Ameng (formerly known as vanessa), left in September that year and later joined the Chengdu Hunters in November.

BTRG competed in 2018 Contenders Season 3, where they placed in the top eight. In March 2019, the team brought in a mostly new roster, and finished in the bottom four in 2019 Contenders Season 1. They then qualified for Season 2 through Trials, and later finished in the top eight of Season 2.

BTRG’s final match was in the 2019 Huya Super League, where they lost to Bilibili Gaming in the quarterfinals. The team was also set to compete in Week 1 of 2020 Contenders Season 1.
