NoSmite played in six matches for the Hangzhou Spark last season and another three for their academy team, Bilibili Gaming. His playtime was limited when guxue became the team's full-time starter at main tank following the end of Stage 1.

He is the Eternal's first Korean player not to come from Element Mystic. The Eternal's three other Korean additions--SP9RK1E, Xzi and hanbin--all played for Element Mystic before joining the Overwatch League. They also have two Element Mystic alumni on their coaching staff.

The Eternal now have two main tanks on their roster. NoSmite will compete with BenBest for a starting spot as the team's main tank.

There are now 10 players total on the Eternal roster. They are fielding a mixed roster this season that fields six European players and four Korean players.

The first game of the 2020 Overwatch League season for the Eternal is December 8 against the Toronto Defiant.
