According to the team's Twitter, no other players will be added to the roster.

Asher is the third player on the Defiant roster with Overwatch League experience. He played with the Los Angeles Gladiators last season, where he played hitscan en route to a playoff finish for the team. Asher was used extensively at the beginning of the season, however his playtime dropped off at the end. His last match of the season was in the first week of Stage 4.

Roky began 2018 as a member of X6-Gaming and was a part of the team's championship roster in Contenders Season 1 Korea. He remained with the team in Contenders Season 2 and was eliminated in the quarterfinals. He played for Seven in Contenders Trials Season 3 Korea.

The Defiant will begin the season with the league's minimum roster size of eight. All eight players are Korean. The team has an additional DPS and an additional support to accompany their starting lineup.

Neko and envy are the other Overwatch League veterans on the team alongside Asher. Three other players were members of O2 Ardeont before they joined the Defiant: Yakpung , Ivy and Stellar .

Their team is one of eight expansion franchises added in the Overwatch League offseason. The next OWL season begins February 14.
