After fine-tuning their roster for months, compLexity Gaming finally announced a new addition in the form of main tank Mihail "Meza" Păunescu from Romania. Meza initially played for Team LDLC during the earlier days of Overwatch and quickly propelled himself to prominence with his Reinhardt play, but LDLC quickly got left behind by numerous European teams before eventually collapsing. Meza used this collapse to seek out other opportunities.

Numerous players trialed for compLexity during the Carbon Series, but one of the most frequent fixture was unsurprisingly Meza. Winghaven—a renowned tank player from Spain—was also seen trialing with compLexity, especially towards the end of the NGE Winter Premiere, but according to both parties the Spaniard did not seem like the best fit. Given compLexity's reluctance to sign a sixth member at this point in time, it's safe to say that Meza meshed well enough with the team.

compLexity's roster troubles have been well-documented over the past several months, but this signing does give hope for the future given that there is only one more spot to fill. The team moved to a gaming house in California several months ago, and Meza plans to join them once his visa is approved.

As of now, the compLexity Gaming roster is as follows:

  • Jake "torkTJO" Lepoff (DPS)
  • Nicolas "NicolasTJO" Aubin (Flex)
  • Mihail "Meza" Păunescu (Tank)
  • Jackson "Shake" Kaplan (Support)
  • Joe "Joemeister" Gramano (Support)
