G2 has announced the acquisition of an Overwatch team comprised of ex-Epsilon TF2 players.

Epsilon eSports were a European TF2 powerhouse with 7 ETF2L championships and multiple top-3 finishes on the international stage. The squad was initially slated to play Overwatch under the Epsilon banner, but later parted ways for undisclosed reasons.

Team captain Seb "numlocked" Barton commented on their new home:

We're all really excited to be working with G2. As soon as Overwatch was announced, as a team we knew we had to get our hands on it. Each person in our team brings a wealth of relevant experience which has a huge amount of potential in Overwatch. With G2's belief in us, we feel we can release our potential to its maximum.

The tentative lineup consists of:

  • Seb "numlocked" Barton
  • Mike "Mike" B
  • Stefan "schocky" Berends
  • Hugo "Flippy" Perhirin
  • Jean-Louis "KnOxXx" Boyer
  • Théo "Tek" Guillebaud
