French organisation Sydioda appeared on the scene back at the start of September 2016 after picking up the former Redskin roster that was once a home to LG's star tank Bastien "SuperPlouk" Klau, not to mention Hqrdest, Hayko, ythnk and Asox. Today, in something of a homecoming for the latter four, comes the announcement that Bonjour have signed to Sydioda.

The newly formed Bonjour were making waves back in November in the Alienware Monthly Mayhem, finishing third behind NiP and FaZe with a combination of ex-melty and ex-Redskin players. They had established themselves as one of Europe's hottest unsigned talents, but would become victims of their own success when SuperPlouk was lured to Toronto by Luminosity Gaming.

It seems lightening may have struck twice as Bonjour's star DPS, Nicolas "NiCOgdh" Moret, is notably absent from the new Sydioda team sheet which can only add further fuel to the flames engulfing his rumoured Rogue tryout. Bonjour had also been considering a merger with Team LDLC back in December, but both parties decided to go their separate ways.

Rounding out the new Sydioda roster are Team Vitality players Chubz and Asox, filling the holes left by SuperPlouk and NiCO respectively, with ythnk as their coach/analyst. The the previous Sydioda roster had been built around former melty tank moonL, but has been dropped by the organisation due to unsatisfactory results.

The new team intend to be active on the French LAN circuit and have set their sights on the €9300 prize pool at the Montepellier Esport Show in February. You can catch them competing online tonight in the €5000 Glory4gamers XTRA Cup, their first event under the Sydioda banner.

The new Sydioda roster is:

  • Richard "PiPou" Buscemi (Support)
  • Julien "baud" Robert (Support)
  • Jeremy "Hqrdest" Danton (DPS)
  • Robin "Hayko" Stahmer (Flex/Off Tank)
  • Thomas "Asox" Williame (DPS)
  • Simon "Chubz" Vullo (Tank)
  • Anthony "ythnk" Danly (Coach)
