The team's previous head coach, Mineral , will move to a management role, according to the team's announcement.

Lori most recently coached WGS Phoenix to a third place finish in Contenders 2020 Korea Season 1. It was the first time he had ever coached a Contenders Korea team.

Prior to that, Lori had a brief stint coaching Eternal Academy's 2020 mixed-language roster. He coached the Bermuda roster that later became Noble from the second half of 2019 into 2020 and coached Mono Frog in Trials Korea as early as 2018.

The Uprising won just two matches this season and finished last in the league during Mineral's first and only year as the team's head coach. The season before, in which the team had no official head coach, the Uprising finished second to last in the league.

Two members of the team's coaching staff left the team in late September. Currently, Lori and assistant coach Ascoft are the only people on the Uprising coaching staff. The team has eight players on their roster.
