Element Mystic head coach Rush has joined as head coach, and former Shanghai Dragons coach Levi and former Toronto Defiant support Aid have joined assistant coaches.

The Eternal were one of the league’s new expansion teams in the 2019 season, and finished the season in 14th place with an 11-17 record in the regular season.

Rush will made his debut in the Overwatch League with the Eternal. He previously coached for Element Mystic since late 2017--this year they were champions in one season of Contenders Korea, the Pacific Showdown and The Gauntlet.

A previous article mistakenly reported that NineK would be the Eternal's new head coach. Rush will be the team's head coach and NineK will serve as an assistant on his staff.

Levi joins after he and the Shanghai Dragons split last month. During his time with the Dragons this season, they won the Stage 3 finals against eventual champions the San Francisco Shock, and qualified for the play-in tournament with an 11th place finish in the regular season. They there later eliminated in the play-in tournament by the London Spitfire and ended their season in the top 10.

Aid makes his coaching debut after playing support for the majority of his career. He was released by the Defiant this month after playing in the expansion team’s first season; they tied for 17th place this season with a 8-20 record.

Yesterday the Eternal parted ways with four players, which include DANYE, Finnsi, lhcloudy and ShaDowBurn.

The Eternal today also signed Element Mystic DPS SP9RK1E, pending league approval. He also joins Rush from the same team.
