LVLZ was previously on X6-Gaming when Meta Athena acquired the Open Division championship roster prior to the beginning of Season 2 of Contenders Trials Korea 2019. Under the Meta banner, LVLZ went 5-1 in Trials, and finished in second place behind Fusion University.

Named rejoins Meta Athena after previously playing for the team during Season 1 of Contenders Trials 2019. He and the team placed 4th with a 4-3 match record. Named also with the team in the season of Contenders prior, finishing 1-4 in their group.

Jasp3r last played for Team MVP in the previous season of Contenders Korea. His team netted 2 wins in the regular season, but it wasn't enough for a playoffs berth. Prior to joining MVP, he had been a longtime member of BM Hawk.

These weren't the only midseason moves Meta Athena had made this season of Contenders, having previously announced the addition of Daemin to the team. Meta Athena now have eight players on their roster.

Meta Athena are seeking to turn their ship around in Contenders with this roster shakeup. The team is currently winless at just over the halfway mark of the regular season.

The team will face Element Mystic in their next regular season match in Contenders.
