#15 Reports indicate that Rogue and NRG will be the next teams shipped to Korea in News
twerpAvastMikoWho's ready for the all-Korean playoffs?
Rogue is a contender for best team in the world so unlikely.
a contender for best team in the world, based off of their results versus NA teams? i'm a Rogue fan don't get me wrong, but there's not much of a basis for that.
hard to estimate how a team will do without seeing them play in proportion to other nations

Yeah I assure you its not just that.

#14 Rogue vs. Hammers Esports – Alienware Monthly Melee February 2017 Playoffs GF in Matches
laseralpacaClickbaitrogue cutting through all the american teams like a 1,000 degree knife through butter

EDIT: why the downfrag lmao? it's true, rogue has won every game (apart from this one) 2/3-0.

I'm afraid given rogue's success it also doesn't speak well for the NA scene that there is so much parity among teams right now. They all seem to beat each other on any given hour without any clear favorite, and no one is consistently better than the rest. Hammers didn't even qualify for the tourney immortals won a week or two ago.

Having said that it's certainly good that there is consistent competition with the carbon series. It's clearly what the scene needs right now.

Hammers wasn't even a roster during the NGE qualifiers it was Bird Noises and the team dissolved temporarily due to Immortals poaching a player from them. If Bird Noises didn't break up temporarily they probably would have qualified.

#7 Immortals are the Winter Premiere champions in News
Clickbaiti'm pretty glad that immortals won for three reasons.
  1. ghost's intro was embarrassing to watch
  2. immortals lineup seems to be made up of really nice people
  3. bianca is cute af

immortals are super cool and can confirm on bianca after meeting them at pax

#45 NRG vs. C9 – MLG Vegas Invitational MLG Vegas Group B OM in Matches

The problem with this meta in particular for NRG is that it exacerbates their weak points and takes away their strong points that were somewhat keeping them afloat before.

They have strong DMers with clockwork, seagull, and engima but this meta the DPS roles are extremely weak due to huge healthpools and burst healing.

They have weaker communication and teamplay/strategy than their top team counterparts (fnatic cloud9 etc..) which the tank meta requires

Overall bad days ahead for NRG because regardless of the meta shift they were certainly having problems before.

SKYTRiXSHAAvastAll I can say is I hope they make the most of it when Bird Noises, Kungarna, Spicy Boys, and Citizen 7 are still not sponsored.
Picking Kungarna would be bad PR,

Bird noises is no more. They splitted up like week ago,

Citizen7 no clue, doubt theyre good enough atm

Complexity is sponsored and they have two ex-hackers?

I can't really say about Bird Noises except for that when their last iteration was alive they had plenty of results.

Citizen 7 is certainly good enough. So are Spicy Boys.

Regardless that doesn't detract from the fact that they got the sponsorship and I wish them the best. Hope they get the big wins.
