With EnVyUs, EnVision and FaZe looking strong, this could decide who takes the last play-off spot. On balance, I think I'd give it to Rogue, I'm pretty sure they're only going to get stronger as the tournament goes on, and wouldn't be surprised if they make the finals at LAN, as long as they can sort out the communication issues that seem to have crept in.

Edit: So I wasn't expecting some of the results, it's now looking like a 3-way race between Rogue, Kungarna and FNRGFE for the 4th spot. With both Rogue and FNRGFE both having to play EnVyUs still, this is now a must win for Rogue to have a playoff chance.

Doing some math here: If Rogue win this, and Kungarna beat Immortals and lose to Faze, they'll be on 3-4. If Rogue then lose to EnVyUs, they'll also be 3-4, but with the map win over Kungarna beating them in the head-to-head. FNRGFE have to play FaZe, EnVyUs and Renegades, of which they'll likely lose to FaZe and EnVyUs, and beat Renegades, also giving them 3-4. But here it gets interesting, because they lost to Kungarna, but beat Rogue, so I've no idea how that works in the table.

Tl:Dr: If Kungarna win this, they're likely through to playoffs. If Rogue win this, it could be anybody's spot.

I'm giving Kungarna the win here.

Looking at the recent history of both teams it's hard to say who I'd give it to. KUN have yet to win a match against one of the stronger teams and Rogue has been very hit or miss...though mostly miss...with their team play and being able to win both with the conditions they were playing in and their very obviously lack of effective flexibility.

I will say though that being back in an optimal environment should give them at least a bit of a boost so I'll give them a small advantage because of it.

I think Rogue win 3-1, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this going all the way or KUN getting the W instead. Will be interesting to see who can bounce back.

I'm also low key hoping for SoOn to carry hard and just shit on Mykl left, right and center.

3-2 to Rogue with Kungarna taking first two maps. Although Kungarna is going through some changes according to the org's tweet, Rogue has been very shaky too. Mid-tier NA teams match up KappaMoss.

Important match for both of the teams. Rogue needs to win to have any chance to make into the playoff as I do not think they will be able to beat EnVyUs. If Kungarna wins here, they will have a good chance of making into the playoff. If not, they will have to beat Immortals--which I think could be difficult if Immortals is in their best condition-- and have better map score than FNRGFE and Rogue.
I think Rogue will win here as Kungarna usually run similar comp as Rogue, and Rogue is the one that usually excels in that particular comp. I predict Rogue win with 3-1.

Rogue 3-1, Kungarna has looked disoriented in recent weeks and certainly has not been playing to their fullest potential. Rogue hasn't looked particularly impressive either, but I think their DPS are just a generally stronger duo that than of Kungarna.

Babybay isnt playing, so apparently dalton is filling? So I guess that's a downgrade or so.

Isn't Gods a sub for them ? And btw Babybay said it might be Corey replacing him tonight.

I wish Mykl had other plans tonight instead of Baby......

Kungarna without Babybay is like Real Madrid without Ronaldo. Mykl and Corey must be one of the weakest DPS partnerships you're likely to see in the professional scene.

I think this is mostly down to the fact that Kungarna are sinking faster than the Titanic.

I think its a combo of the two, Rogue is looking better and Kung is looking rough.

How bad Kung looks shows how important Babybay is to this team.

partly but i think its mostly due to rogue improvments
previously rogues ult economy was just terrible amd right now its much better, same goes for teamplay

I don't know how to evaluate the Rogue situation because it's really easy to look good when the opponent is that bad. Will need to wait and see how they do against a squad that's actually good.

Well next week they play Envyus, not a bigger test of whether Rogue is back or not than that.

Exactly, if they can do better than FaZe or even FNRGFE they'll have improved.

Have they played since the Rumble in April? Rogue had Envy's number in that tourney.

I believe it's not mathematically impossible, but with the way they've looked I would give up all hope at this point honestly.

It is mathematically impossible, their map score is too low for them to have a chance.
