Finland's best known Overwatch roster is without a doubt Team Gigantti, who currently sit in second place on the Contenders EU standings. Look beyond Gigantti and you'll find a wealth of Finnish squads competing in European Overwatch. The ASUS ROG GameXpo 2017 will showcase seven of these Finnish line-ups over two months of tournament play.

The event's regular season consists of one round robin played from 19th September to 11th October. Matches are scheduled for Tuesday and Sunday nights, with all fixtures being played in a best-of-three maps format. The top four teams from the regular season will then advance to the playoffs, played out on LAN at GameXpo 2017 from 3rd-5th November. The prize pool for the event has not yet been announced.

Notable participants besides Gigantti include Helsinki Reds and ENCE eSports, both ASUS ROG Summer semifinalists earlier this year. They will not be without competition however, as a host of Finland's up-and-coming talent will be looking to make a name for themselves.
