The bold part is giving USA the 1 map win

posted about 6 years ago

The roster is solid considering the tanks and supports have already established chemistry. I can easily see this team being underrated because there are no "big" names other than Surefour

Fuel/Canada/C9 NA

Would be a pleasant surprise to see Surefour with Shadowburn and the rest of FaZe but it's highly likely he is with LA#2

posted about 6 years ago

It's not all about his fanbase. xQc's aggressive playstyle is also different from cocco's and can match NV/Dallas' approach to certain maps

They still have an 8th country being announced tomorrow PogChamp

Munchkin and Xepher has also joined Team Seoul

The fact that Surefour never tweeted LFT means he is 99% with a team already - either the Gladiators or Philly. Highly doubt he's in Houston/OpTic (which is pretty much FNRGFE) or Boston (apparently the worst team at the moment).

Or we are all getting jebaited and Jack signed them again as subs and starters for London after C9KD got rekt by Busan

I find the timing of this funny after he just dashed into a bomb with his blade ready

I guess he is now Sadder2k. I'll see myself out

Love how everyone thinks Korea's side is much better. Sure China/Korea are there, but if there's anything I've learned from the first 2 weeks of Contenders and APEX is that even the better teams can lose. The meta will presumably be different come blizzcon as well, so it's just silly basing all these assumptions on who the better teams are on the current meta

C9 just picked up Sinatraa, Fischer, Space, Neptuno, Zombs (sub) and silkthread (sub), what in the hell

posted about 6 years ago

Kelvin didn't make it into groups and I highly believe that is what Taimou is referring to - people like Sinatraa/jake/Surefour who were part of season 0 but not 1. However Seagull is part of the old NRG, so it also depends on what Taimou was referring to - does he mean players like Gods and Pookz are also out or just iddqd?

Boston just tweeted a 'teaser' regarding their OWL team, and combining this with post#2 it's highly likely Kraft signed LW Blue

posted about 6 years ago

Looks like xQc is right. Either NRG new roster is good or Rogue just coming back to earth

posted about 6 years ago

He and Cwoosh are from Movistar

posted about 6 years ago

I think he's still under contract. I believe this sub is very similar to mendo subbing for Seagull in NRG, or even Talespin being a sub for Liquid before

posted about 6 years ago

Wow, did not see this coming. Highly doubt S4 stays with FaZe after Contenders unless they already have an OWL spot, but man FaZe just got so much better with Carpe and S4. Excited for Contenders S1

posted about 6 years ago

I mean, NRG with Seagull also beat Rogue once when they were doing their placements. enVision has a better claim at least because they made top 8 (also LGE)

Calm down Agilities

@10 - interviewer kept calling out Mangachu for his 'poor' DVA play. Honestly he's solid, Canada was just stronger when he went Pharah

posted about 6 years ago

If you can't deal with Pharmacy, you don't deserve top 8

If Canada loses Oasis, they deserve to lose this matchup. Only way they won 2 maps is cause of Manga's Pharah and Russia's lack of hitscan

Carryburn in the house

posted about 6 years ago

I want SK to lose/throw so I can see who can throw harder between RUS/CAN for that 2nd place

posted about 6 years ago

Canada Russia will probably be as good as AUS/JPN. Can't wait. It sucks that the loser will get rolled by Korea

posted about 6 years ago

Surefour to NV was leaked weeks ago during a Drunkmou stream but when Kyky went on a AMA, he said that was just speculation between Taimou and S4. It's a real possibility though that Surefour may move to another team if C9 stays inactive given their absence from Contenders S1 and that he hasn't gotten tired of the game. Would be a shame if someone like him or Adam isn't part of OWL.

Not unless Vietnam miraculously 4-0's Spain

Looks like Sweden might have to play for 2nd in the group and potentially Finland in the playoffs monkaS

Crazy OT push by Denmark

EDIT: Insane answer by FRogue!

posted about 6 years ago

They subbed in envy for him when they went down 0-3 and almost reverse swept

posted about 6 years ago

This is some pretty clutch work from Immortals. What a series!

posted about 6 years ago

I just like the fact that Rogue isn't stomping every matchup like before they went to Korea. I don't know if other teams have caught up or if they're rusty, but it's great to see some competition.

posted about 6 years ago

Wow Rogue barely survived that, what is up with them

posted about 6 years ago

I like how both teams didn't even qualify during the first day of qualifiers with TL fighting for 7th in the 2nd day and here they are fighting for 1st

posted about 6 years ago

Dare I say IMT playing like this they can hang with NV or Rogue?

Renegades threw Kappa

posted about 6 years ago

Yes and at the moment, C9 and Kungarna at 8points, with Kungarna at 13-11 on maps and C9 12-8 so C9 needs to take a map off RNG otherwise they are gone

posted about 6 years ago

It will be a draw at 13-9 each if C9 and Kungarna win map 4

posted about 6 years ago

C9 pretty much has to win next map to force a tiebreaker with Kungarna if Kunagrna draws Hammers

posted about 6 years ago

WTH Hammers is actually gonna draw/win? C9 is alive

posted about 6 years ago

This is pretty fun. If C9 wins this 3-1 and Kungarna 4-0's HH, all 3 of RNG, C9 and Kungarna finish 15-9, with Kungarna getting knocked out, and C9 and RNG going to a tiebreaker for first

posted about 6 years ago

This match is hype. C9 better hope RNG beats Kungarna otherwise they're pretty much eliminated

posted about 6 years ago

That Shadowburn deflect tho

It's double round robin isn't it? They all face each other again next week
