SEO can mix up their roles and run jehong on tank, fleta on support, etc and they'd still win

Because Agilities is as streaky as they come like Taimou. When he's on, his Genji is top 3. But when he's off, he turns invisible, like against Australia in WC. Silkthread has the wider hero pool and better consistency as far as the first few matches of LAV have gone.

After his Genji on Horizon though, LAV coaching staff would be idiots to bench him again when they want a Genji comp

You know no team wants absolutely nothing to do with Ray Rice right? "Slap on the wrist" lmao

If they want OWL to flourish, they need to take these matters very seriously. This kind of behavior paints a very bad picture for esports players in general. They need to learn what it means to be professional, and that doesn't mean act differently on social media but being more aware that you're not just a streamer now but a paid professional athlete.

What he said may not have been a big of a deal, and Muma just brushed it off. But imagine if someone like LeBron James said that toward an openly gay NBA player.

lol I can't even feel bad for this comment. DAL is playing like a tier 3 team right now

Dallas will be playing with a chip on their shoulders. A lot of close losses, especially to Valiant. Now I know, HOU is the same from the preseason, but I expect a 3-1 or even 4-0 Fuel win here. Will highly depend on Jakerat and Effect

I'm more interested to see how the Junkrat & Mercy nerfs will shake the meta and pecking order. It's easy to praise some teams on their flexibility but the diverse meta has actually been anchored by the moth. Will be interesting to see what kind of mercy-less comps, if the meta does shift, teams will come up with.

Both teams looked good yesterday against the Korean teams despite losing 3-1. FLA 3-2 Boston

Maybe cause it's preseason and they're testing out comps and that each player on each team has to play during the preseason? Also Mendo wasn't even supposed to make it due to visa issues. He's rusty and probably hasn't even scrimmed at all. Clockwork is a different story tho

This match will show whether London (or rather, GC Busan) really fell off or if the Gladiators are for real. Again, only preseason, but it still can be a sign of things to come

When you beat the favorites without a mercy. I knew LAG was underrated, but damn

Right, cause LAG not even bothering with Mercy on 2nd map isn't

Who would've thought a team down 0-2 to Australia, no dedicated off-tank player, arguably the weakest Mercy in the tournament (sorry Joe), would make it all the way, take a map off Korea and go toe to toe with them while making a Triple tank, Bastion and Torbjorn comp work? Gotta give a shout out to their flexibility. Well done boys, proud of you!

posted about 6 years ago

No disrespect to Joemeister also, but Tobi got better as SK's Mercy but Joe just kept dying first and wasting Valkyries. Canada could really have taken a map or even 2 more if Joe stayed alive longer

posted about 6 years ago

Whatever happens, thank you Canada for the Bastion and Torb comps. Well played boys

France was definitely drained during their match against Sweden. You can tell the motivation wasn't there like it was against SK. Still a great showing by that team and it's gonna be weird seeing them play on different teams from now on.

posted about 6 years ago

As long as Joemeister stays on Mercy duty, Canada has no chance. Also, SK has pretty much adapted to the mercy meta after facing USA and FRA. When Jake said the best time to beat SK was in the QF, he was right because nobody knows what kind of effect the meta would have, and SK was forced to play a bit different to their usual game. Now that they're used to it, gg Canada

posted about 6 years ago

Very close match, like US/SK

posted about 6 years ago

If SWE beats FRA, rolled UK, but lost to CAN, I think we're all not giving Canada and even Australia the credit they deserve

posted about 6 years ago

The reason why USA and France were able to go toe to toe with SK is because they had better Mercy's in uNKOE and Adam. If Canada insists on using Throwmeister on Mercy, SK will roll them 4-0.

Wait, 1-1 is France destroying Sweden?

The only reason Snillo was getting PogChamps were because of Manneten's grav that setup his pulse bombs. He had good sticks in Hanamura, but he didn't made the kind of impact Sweden needed. Also doesn't help he's a one trick Tracer

This is a pretty lit matchup to be honest. I was worried after that performance against AUS that Canada was going to get rolled, but I think Australia was just severely underestimated

Yes. Did you not see how the USA stayed in team fights mostly because of Adam's mercy? Tobi on the other hand kept getting picked off early in team fights, and in this meta, the team with the better mercy pretty much wins most of team fights. That's one of the reasons why US kept it close. Even with mr 150k sinatraa being a no show that entire matchup the US almost won because of the Junkrat mercy meta

posted about 6 years ago

SK stomped US in Gibraltar and Oasis because of one man - Fl0w3r. Jake was saying how SK wasn't as adaptable as US, well clearly he and his crew couldn't adapt to Fl0w3r's Widow and Pharah on Gibraltar and Oasis.

Add in the fact that US was stupid enough to swap Adam, one of the if not the best NA Mercy to Lucio and let Rawkus, an insane Zen take over Mercy duties who then proceeded to get picked off first in every team fight in Oasis.
