I’ll get massively downfragged for this but in my eyes, ZP’s casting isn’t good enough for OWL, and hes not the ideal “personable”, more charismatic or marketable option for a caster, regardless of his knowledge for the game.

I think you make some good points, but while NYXL is definitely at the top, I don’t think the skill levels of teams are as disparate as you say- in fact, many matches are extremely close which is what I think makes this league so good.

I also love how a lot of focus has been put on the players and developing their storylines and personalities more throughout Watchpoint content, interviews, etc. I really feel like I know lots of these players and can even relate to some of them.

Now we wait for

ROBOKUN TO COME ARGUE HOW OWL IS TRASH

Spree has proven in the past he's not a one trick. His D.Va is strong (albeit not as strong as Matt), but his Roadhog has proven to be phenomenal so far and in the past he's shown the ability to flex to DPS such as Soldier, Tracer, and Pharah.

Very different from Hoon.

Being good at a hero doesn’t equal getting signed to a League team. There needs to be a lot more than just “I’m a good Zarya”.

I'll repeat myself. Doesn't matter how many viewers there are at this moment, doesn't matter how much money they're pouring into it. It'll get stale, fast.

It'll be dead by September.

Also be aware that lots of teams have developed structures where multiple people are making calls, and theres not a devoted shotcaller. When I did my interview with Jake, he told me that main shotcalling on the Outlaws, while Rawkus leads a lot, will also sometimes come from Jake or Matt, just based on the scenario. It’s a lot less formal than you might think.

Let's talk about favorite moments in Overwatch eSports. They could be from OWL, beforehand, things that happened on stream, etc. Idk!

Hey there!

I’d suggest starting out with heroes such as Junkrat, Roadhog, Reaper, Mercy, and Lucio to get a sense of the game from different roles. Also, if you come from a FPS background, Soldier:76 is a good starting hero as we’ll.

Watch some Overwatch League! You’ll learn a lot about high levels of play, strong team compositions, positioning, and counterpicks.

Not trying to, just want to set some better goals for the community as a whole.

Thanks. I appreciated the stuff you've said in various threads.

...whether as the Overwatch community as a whole or even just our community here on over.gg, is feeling very divided and very immature.
I realize this post is bound to just start more arguments but I wanted to share my voice since I've been relatively silent about all the dramawatch, only posting a few pun-comments to farm some upfrags. I respect each and everyone's opinions on this website but I think we need to be careful what we assume, accuse, and inflate.

There's obviously been situations with xQc, Eqo and etc. in the past but I'd like to focus most on the current Dreamkazper situation.

At the end of the day, we need to separate our beliefs and our opinions from the facts. Dreamkazper is 100% the one in the wrong here, not just according to what 'seems right' but also just the law. Accusing a 14 year old girl of fabricating the whole situation or approaching it 'incorrectly' is completely unnecessary. She's young and inexperienced and was probably very scared and nervous throughout this whole process. Instead of trying to put her in the same light as DK, whether you agree with her methods or not, show a little respect for someone who went through something truly horrible, especially at her age. I have a younger cousin who I'm very close with, who is also at the age of 14. She dealt with a situation quite similar to this in recent months, and based on my conversations and observations with her, people, especially a young girl in a threatening situation, can make some rash decisions without thinking about it. Let her breathe. Please don't throw blame on someone who was brave enough to speak up.

I've been reading comments on the Dreamkazper threads here, on reddit, I've looked at Lily's twitter, and more than half of it has disgusted me. Please, please, let's try to be a little better and maybe give our community a better name than just being a bunch of toxic assholes jumping on opportunities to trash other people.

Sorry if this offends you.

Thank you. Everyone is arguing about the little things such as if Lily was mature, if the whole thing was fabricated- this is a law, it was broken by DK, it’s as simple as that, he’ll suffer the consequences.
