Blizzard seem to have separate punishments for seemingly the same crime so often it's hard to look at them positively tbh

Yeah they said they wanted to make the contenders team at least somewhat Euro/British because people have issues with the only British team being 100% Korean.
I'm actually so hype to see how things change in the next stage for all of the teams, the way this is all structured makes it so exciting.
His communication/leadership was one of his biggest upsides when he played TF2 and I wouldn't be too surprised if it's the same here. It's a little easier to lead a team from a support role and I think that's much of the reason he plays it. That said, I do agree with you that it's a shame he doesn't get to flex more often.

I think he'll probably focus on that too but now if they want to run an unusual comp with pharah PLUS a seagull hero they can, which is pretty cool.
People have said a few times that it's super obvious what Dallas are going to do in a match according to the players they pick, so at least with AKM you don't just know he's playing one role like with Seagull. Taimou could also just be stepping down (last two matches he did) to focus on himself and the team for a bit to get back to form and then they have options to do triple DPS or any number of things with Effect on Zarya, Timo on Hog with Mickie still on DVa if that ever for some reason becomes a thing (who fucking knows, maybe triple tank lineups?).
It'll be interesting to see how this goes for sure!

They fucked Starcraft and now it seems they're fucking Overwatch too. I hope to God they make up for it with OWL being the greatest thing ever but I don't know what they're thinking by causing so many top players to have to choose between paying rent and practising.
Am I missing something or are Blizzard just fine with killing the prospects of a bunch of teams/players by causing orgs to leave and therefore have them get no salary? Seems like such a stupid move.

Taimou told everyone watching his stream on multiple occasions that they had received an invite to go but weren't going to do it because they needed a rest (as this article says) but it seems they've had discussions since then (as this article says) and have changed their minds about that. (as this article says)

Personally I enjoy players that don't just filter every last thing they say or do. The mistakes Taimou makes like these show he's still just human which for many may make it a lot easier to relate like Sideshow said.
