I am looking forward to see more of MT1. The team has so many flexible players and they have the balls to run weird comp so many times in a big tournament, and they actually did well.

Looking at this roster, i guess the rumor of their result are real too.

Is 1246 going to make the magic happen again?

How come MY beat the strongest team, and then lost a map to the last place team...

Why is there rating decay in the world cup ranking lol

posted about 6 years ago

I know right. When would the coach switch roaster when the team was doing well?

posted about 6 years ago

This is a stay alive match, whichever team loses this match won't make it to playoff.

IMT C9 2 points in a row on the same map. Is this the first in a tournament match?

posted about 6 years ago

Envision beat IMT 3-1 when everyone predicted IMT 4-0 them!

It's 5v6, ofc they lose Kappa

I missed Hex, he is finally back to cast overwatch.

APAC later this year supposed to feature best teams from each regions.

You just make me remember AMM, a great monthly tournament that regularly pulls 30k viewers. Blizzard killed it, and a big trunk of those viewer go watch something else other than competitive.

I doubt it. They lost to 2 teams made up of players from many teams, some of these players' teams didn't even qualify for contender season 1. Take LGE for example, I think LGE is actually stronger than team USA due to far superior coordination.

These are huge losses for a full roster pro team who have been scriming together for a very long time with full staff support.

Allow selling of a tournament slot that through elimination is quite stupid. If a team is dropping out, the slot should go to one of the teams that was eliminated last.

I know one... Seagull. I want to see Mendo back too, Surefour + Mendo is the best C9 DPS duo I have seen.
I think Xepher can go, he doesn't look all that good outside of Zarya anyway. Selly was looking like the much better korean of the two.
We can have Surefour, Seagull, Mendo in the same lineup. The hero pools and roles works out great too.

I wonder how many more teams are to going to disband when i wake up tomorrow morning.

I see teams that haven't played in over a month still rank mid-high ish.

Is there no rating decay in this ranking?

How does a team go from almost beating Envy to losing to Splyce....

Blizzard is the one approves and sponsors all Overwatch tournaments in China after the game official launch. Netease is just the game publisher.

It is kinda sad when a team performs better with 2 subs.

  1. They made it to the final with Twoeasy, not with the new lineup.
  2. If Faze successfully getting a OWL spot, they don't have to invest alot into this team at all. They can pick up a upcoming unsponsored team, buyout from a small org for example new hammer team, or they can rebuild with better half of current team.
posted about 6 years ago

When TwoEasy was still in the team, they were talking about getting a team house at the beginning of this year. Faze result has taken such a deep dive after kicking TwoEasy. I serious doubt that Faze will invest so much resource into the current team, at least not until their performance climb back up.

One of the most one sided match i have seen.

I am not surprised. NiP was a mid tier EU team before triple tank meta came, and then they rose to power suddenly.

Scrimming with other team instead of the team he has contract with... really these esport pros...

posted about 7 years ago

Why is Dummy locked a position, but Enigma is not? Enigma is clear one of the two best players in the team, and he is much better than Dummy.

Are you serious?

"overrated as fk" is on a totally different scale from overrated, you were totally denounced C9 and other NA teams. Being a pro player publicly trash talking other competitors is not going not making beef? lol

posted about 7 years ago

Weren't you the one trying to make beef by claiming C9, faze and other NA are "overrated as fk"? I heard C9 even offer to switch to eastern server to help Fnatic. I love custa's stream and I think most people on Fnatic are very nice, but I also think your trash talking and behavior is very immature and not good for the brand and image of Fnatic.

Mendo did great with high pin when he was playing from Sweden. Haffi's Sweden must be alot farther away than IDDQD and Mendo's Sweden.

posted about 7 years ago

Nice excuse. Haffidrool

posted about 7 years ago

The overrated as fuck C9 just dominated the match against you. All 3 map wins were won by a huge advantage. Nice Haffichoke!

In the short run Blizzard can pumping money into the scene, but in the long run Blizzard isn't going to keep pumping these much advertisement budget into these events with low audience counts.

Thank you for considering it.

Filter as in the stream with language that's filtered out doesn't show on the list. There are only 11 live streams show on that list. If we have a filter, then it can allow users to optimize to show stream we actually may want to watch.

posted about 7 years ago

Many of us aren't interested in watching stream with language we don't understand, can you please add an language filter option? This wasn't a problem before, but now we are getting more and more of these different language streams that we don't understand, and bury down streams that we maybe interested in.

Sombra is just one of many parts of a big patch. The balance patch also buff under power heroes like 76 which have been so weak for months and nerf overpower heroes. The actual game and actual 99% player base should take priority over a outside game event that last 2 months.

posted about 7 years ago

With all due respect, I think it's only true for 1-2 weeks big tournaments. It's unreasonable to ask developers to schedule update around 2 months long leagues. 99% of player base takes priority over a tournament.

posted about 7 years ago

Maybe because they want seagull, but NRG is only rank 5-8 NA teams, they most likely won't make it to top8 with KR pin.

posted about 7 years ago

They should make it into a tradition :)

Chinese team has visa issue, their team members are from 3 teams now.

Korean team members are from 3-4 teams now due to players switching teams.

Rogue destroyed Lunatic in the final(half of the maps Rogue completely dominated Lunatic, they weren't even close by any means), but Lunatic has 4 of 6 mvps?

posted about 7 years ago

He probabaly has a contract. He is still technically an Dignitas employee, just not on the team roaster. Like mendo and grego, they still stream under the name Faze and C9 even though they are not on the team roaster anymore.

Good luck Esper, show them who was the problem :)
