Question About OWL Divisions

On the Overwatch League website it has a Pacific and an Atlantic Division. https://overwatchleague.com/en-us/teams

Pacific has Dallas Fuel, LA Valiant, LA Gladiators, SF Shock, Seoul Dynasty, and Shanghai Dragons.

Atlantic has Boston Uprising, Florida Mayhem, Houston Outlaws, London Spitfire, NY Excelsior, and Philadelphia Fusion.

When the playoffs start, will they do it like other sports where they separate the divisions so that no matter what, the championship will have to be two teams from a separate division? For example: If Dallas and Seoul are the two best teams at the end of the season, would they be on opposite sides of the playoff bracket and be able to play each other in the championship? Or would they be on the same side of the bracket and have to play each other in a Pacific Division Championship in order to get into the OWL Championship against the best Atlantic team?

Sorry if I missed something but I was just confused about if divisions effect the playoff bracket like that or not and I haven't seen any information about it yet.

I think they play more matches inside their Division and the two first in the Division go to Playoff with Wildcards....Probably now doesnt mean a lot but when they will build stadium will actually be important for travel things....i dont have idea how the playoffs will work but i think they will be mixed since after the 2 first what is important is your record :)

poi and the Monte video summed it up perfectly. The top seed of each division gets a first round playoff bye, but after that it all goes by best record regardless of division, got it. I like how they chose to do that. Thanks for the quick responses!
