that's what i'm wondering. was insanely hyped for rumble just to establish how NA teams actually stack up to each other

How has Selfless earned it? They've won only a minor and weeklies against 2nd tier teams and perfomed "ok" in Pit cup.

lol wat

i don't think you have to beat the best team to be a good team. EW is clearly good, and 2-0'd Selfless who performs closely with Rogue

i think NRG will win, but it'd be kind of sad if they didn't knowing they'll be playing teams of this caliber except on even ping

this team doesn't seem near the realm of representing the west in eastern tournaments.

EW seems legitimately pretty good though. wondering how they'll play vs selfless

Seagull is a popular streamer is all.

Justin beaver is a popular female artist, no one with clean ears would ever claim she's a good musician.

you just confirmed that you mindlessly hate on everything popular/"mainstream" hehexd

harbleu left his previous team willingly and all 3 of those examples have proven themselves as standout individual players in tournaments. iddqd wasn't cut because of his skill. i agree there are more proven teams to invite but just sounds like you're mindlessly hating on players for being popular.

a contender for best team in the world, based off of their results versus NA teams? i'm a Rogue fan don't get me wrong, but there's not much of a basis for that.
hard to estimate how a team will do without seeing them play in proportion to other nations

as hyped as i am for NRG, doesn't seem right to invite them over proven teams such as selfless (who harbleu has indicated NRG is struggling in scrims with). disappointing to not see the best proven teams from the west representing the west.

basically xepher was on a team that collectively accused geguri of aimbotting (she wasn't aimbotting). but during this he/his team accused her of cheating, and it escalated to harsh verbal harassment, trying to get her kicked out of her team and overwatch. (and there were also death threats from the team, like showing up to her door with a knife or something like that, i don't think from xepher specifically but he was like-minded afaik)

why not? he was successful with this to jake on ilios

a European team and a team of Europeans is the same thing

EnVyUs isn't a european org though. team refers to the organization, and the players are only the sum of its parts. when you refer to envyus you're not referring to taimou, cocco etc, you're referring to an american esports team/organization founded in 2007, that just happens to be represented by european players in OW at the moment

would be impressive if you predicted this before it was 2-1

lucio is already pretty survivable, looks like he'll be harder to click on and a lot better at stalling. if the point was to lower lucio's pick rate i can't imagine these changes helping. i could only see him being picked more often than before if that's possible. his AOE may have been nerfed but if he can move that quickly between low hp targets the change isn't so effective

increasing the projectile speed is a good change and i thought he needed a damage buff

weirdly inconsistent teams

why mention "online"? playing well online is a part of being a good team, nobody should disagree with this. and bo1 means that they lost once. slip ups can happen, but if a team loses a game to another it's clearly a close matchup

It's the equivalent of losing to a 6 stack of Bronze players in ranked

ok idk about that

not rly it's a harb meme. but losing in that way is pretty unfortunate for an established team

LTJ is good at actually every DPS hero btw

which would be good to pair with whoru who has a pretty limited hero pool, so they could run a genuine dive comp (opposed to a dive comp with esca on mccree because he can't play dive heroes)

not gonna lie you don't sound very knowledgeable
